The Blog
The blog's title, 19 o' Clock News, is based on a song by Tokio (Jyuukuji no News in Japanese). It's the opening theme song to my favorite anime series, Kodomo no Omocha. I chose it not only because I like the song and LOVE the series it's from, but also because I feel that my blog is a newscast of my life.
The Current Layout
It's no secret that I've become very lethargic in terms of web design. It's something I can tinker with on occasion, but it's no longer a burning passion of mine. Because of this dwindling flame, I have a bad habit of letting my layouts get very static. I was desperately in need of a layout change, but knew that there was a possibility of whatever I came up with sticking around for a LONG time, so wanted to stay very generic, but with a splash of personality.

I started off designing something that tied into my love for Final Fantasy VII (best game ever!), but stayed very subtle. Well, that didn't last long! I tried really hard to refrain from making it too deep into the fandom, but I did. Still, I like it (for now). Let's see how long it'll take for me to get sick of it. ;)
